How will I know if my child is ready to move to a different class?
Our coaching staff continually tracks your child’s progress and your child's coach will approach you when they have accomplished the proper skills necessary to be promoted out of their class. At that time you must contact the MEGA Office to make your new class selection. Return to Top
Do you do progress reports?
We sure do! Progress reports are given here during every term. Our instructors document each child's progressions the entire year. If you ever have any questions about your child's progressions we strongly encourage you to talk to your child's instructors. Return to Top
Do you have a parent viewing area?
Yes, we do have a viewing area, equipped with padded chairs and bleachers, for parents to sit comfortably and watch their children. We also have a great lobby area which offers free coffee, wireless internet, and a TV and homework area for siblings to watch TV or complete their homework. Return to Top
What if my child misses a class? Can they do a make-up?
The tuition you pay reserves your child’s spot in his/her class. However, at MEGA, we understand that circumstances or situations arise and your child may miss his/her class. We offer 2 make ups per session as long as the space is available. If space is limited and we cannot place your child in a class or you have more make-ups, you may make them up in our summer session.. Please call the office in advance to schedule any make-ups. Are the instructors certified?
Yes, all of our instructors are certified thru USA Gymnastics, which is the sole national governing body for the sport of gymnastics in the United States. It gets the designation from the International Olympic Committee and the International Gymnastics Federation. USA Gymnastics sets the rules & policies that govern gymnastics in this country. Training and selecting the U.S Gymnastics Teams for the Olympics and World Championships are just two of their many responsibilities. Do I have to stay to watch my child?
No, unless your child is not able to use the restroom by themselves. If you are going to leave the facility, while your child is in class, please make sure the MEGA Office has your cell phone number on file so we have a method to contact you in the event of an emergency. Return to Top
What does my child wear to class?
For girl’s gymnastics: A leotard without a skirt or tights, hair pulled up neatly, and no jewelry.
For boy’s gymnastics: Gym shorts with no buttons, zippers or buckles and a fitted tucked in tee shirt.
For cheer: Knit shorts, fitted tucked in tee shirt, hair pulled up neatly, no jewelry, and gym shoes that are not worn outside. Return to Top
What happens during the summer?
We offer classes & camps to meet your schedule. One benefit to our gym is that we have air conditioning that allows your child to workout in the summer and not have to worry about the heat. Our full summer class and camp schedule can be found on our website at www.mega-gym.com. Return to Top

Is gymnastics good for your child?
Gymnastics and early childhood movement education is directly attributed to developing neurological pathways in students and promoting reading readiness.” (Raising-A-Reader, 1999) Preschool gymnastics prepares students for successful experiences in school. When can I start?
You can start at any time. Fees are pro-rated to reflect the remaining classes in the current term. Return to Top

How do I pay my bill?
You have several billing options that you select when filling out your registration form. Option 1 is auto billing. We will charge your credit card the 1st of each term for your balance due. Option 2 gives you the option to pay your account on or before the beginning of each term at the MEGA Office. Option 3 is a monthly payment due on the first of each month (with credit card on file). If payment is not received on or before the due date, MEGA will initiate an administrative late fee of $10. MEGA does not send a monthly bill and it is your responsibility to pay your account balance. Return to Top
Is there a discount at MEGA for having multiple children in classes?
Yes, at MEGA, you will receive a 10% discount off of all tuition. Return to Top
Do you have an annual membership fee?
Yes. At MEGA, there is a non-refundable fee, which is used to defray our administrative costs. The cost is $40 for one child and an additional $12 for the second child. The fee for the 3rd, 4th child…etc, child is waived. Annual fees are due September each year. The membership fee includes such benefits as: tuition discount coupons, unlimited $10 discount referral coupons and open gym passes. Return to Top
Do you have a referral program?
When you tell a friend about Michigan Elite Gymnastics Academy, and they enroll in any of our programs, you will receive $10 off the next session’s tuition. Just have your friend give us your name when registering, and you will be sent a thank you card including your discount coupon. Return to Top
How do I know if you are closed for bad weather?
MEGA follows the closing decisions of the Farmington School District; however MEGA will open at 2:00 p.m.. Please call the office at (248) 344-9344 or check our web site at www.mega-gym.com to receive any closing information. We will update our web site and voice mail regularly. Return to Top
Is the MEGA recreational gymnastics program competitive in any way?
No, our recreational gymnastics program is self paced and individualized. We do offer a recreational team program for those not wishing to commit to the competitive team program. Please contact the office for more information. Return to Top
How do students get into the competitive program?
