Gymnastics also builds their self-esteem as they are challenged through strength, flexibility, and coordination exercises to reach their ultimate potential.

With our first-class facility and professional staff, our goal at MEGA is to build your child's self-confidence and self-discipline through physical fitness, fun, and achievement. We believe that through gymnastics instruction, gymnasts learn more than just gymnastics skills. “The true love of learning” is a basic component to a happy, healthy, responsible individual. The best way to foster a love of learning is to help associate learning and challenge with purpose and fun.

With over twenty years of experience, we have helped children of all ages grow through the sport of gymnastics by recognizing each child's unique ability and meeting their physical needs.             

How MEGA came about! 

A love of children and the sport of gymnastics brought two families traveling down different roads together to form what is now Michigan Elite Gymnastics Academy.  Both families shared the same vision and came together to make that vision a reality.  Deciding to use his teaching degree in a different manner, Jonathan Conrad, along with his wife Lynn opened Conrad’s Gymnastics Academy in 1995. 

 Kim and Juha Tanskanen also had a dream of owning their own gymnastics training center. Both being active in the sport of gymnastics for over twenty years, they also realized the positive impact that this sport has on kids. Gymnastics is not just about teaching skills, but also about teaching life skills.  

 Together both families realized the great opportunity that was in front of them, and joined forces to build a strong gymnastics organization which offers superior customer service and top quality instruction.  We are expanding into a 16,000 square foot, fully air conditioned facility to provide the best services to our customers.

 We understand that parents entrust us with their most prized possessions—their children. We at MEGA take that responsibility to heart. We hope that MEGA will impact you in a positive way, and will instill in you a love for the sport of gymnastics, physical fitness and life!
